~~~~~~How We Met~~~~~~
I was working for my brother's company, Woodside and Portola Private Patrol/Answering Service on Sundays, part-time.  Scott was working for All Bases Covered, one of the answering service clients.  Occasionally I would have to call Scott to relay a client's emergency message.  We always kept it professional on the phone and never got personal.
Until... Easter of 2000.  Scott wasn't even on call that day but he knew that I was probably working my usual 16-hour double shift.  He decided to call the answering service to wish me a Happy Easter. What a sweetheart...
A few months later, in early July, Scott called me at the answering service again and this time he said, "I need to ask you a question and I know you are working so it's not appropriate to ask you now. Can I have your email address?"   Without even thinking, I gave it to him and didn't ask questions. The next day, Scott sent me an email (with the photo to the left of his nephew, twin brother and Scott attached) telling me that he would like to be friends. He told me that I was always so helpful, I had a smile that he could visualize and I sounded very nice.  How could I say no to that?
We emailed back and forth everyday for about a week and then started talking on the phone everyday. On July 18, we had our first date. We clicked right away and I knew then that he was the one for me. We were pretty much inseparable after that!
And the rest, as they say, is history.
